The Purpose, the Journey, and the Fun along the way

Here we are, two moms who love our cameras and miss our college art classes and colleagues. With a family it can be difficult to find time for the creative process. Emily and I are using this blog as a way to have fun, work on our photography, keep each other accountable, and be creative!

Each Monday one of us will post a challenge for us both to complete and post a response to by Friday that week. Over the weekend, if time permits each of us will also critique the other's work.

We hope to use this blog as a way to grow together as photographers as we continue to grow as mothers.

If you happen to stumble upon our blog, and want to join in, feel free! Just post your response, with a link to your photos in the MckLinky link for that week. Challenges stay open for three weeks after they are posted.

Challenge #35

This week's challenge was inspired by a conversation I had with Emily last night.

The Challenge:

Submit one photo where your subject is photographed THROUGH something.

Rules:
1. Photos Due by Sat. October 3 (but really you can post late till Tuesday if you'd like)
2. Only one photo is necessary but feel free to submit more if you find you have more than one that you like.
3. B/W or Colour

Challenge #34

Hey, Everyone!
Sorry I didn't get this up sooner- a little boy needed my attention earlier when I was thinking of this, and I forgot until now.
Anyways, here's the challenge:

Broke Down

Submit 3 photos of the same subject from different angles or different distances
Take these as B&W images
Tweeking is OK.
Have fun!!!!

Sick Day

Hey Guys,

I got the flu this weekend and decided not to do a photo challenge this week. I'm going to take it easy and hopefully will be in top shape next week.

So for this week, take the week off!

Wow it's been a quiet week over here at TWPC blog. It seems with the start of school everyone is so so so busy! Great job everyone who is hanging on there.

Challenge #32

Woh! All of a sudden I remembered that I forgot to post a challenge for this week! What a crazy day I've had. I'm all goofed up since everyone had off for Labor Day. So this week I thought we could do a challenge in honor of Labor day.

The Theme: WORK

The Challenge: To portray an idea using one single image

The Rules: One photo, no tweaking, due Sat. Sept. 12 (MckLinky will stay open till the 15th)
