Challenge #31

My hubby helped me to come up with this one- he likes the challenges that have a technical side to them- to help educate people how to deal with certain types of lighting situations, etc., so here's what we came up with:


A Brand New Day

Use these words as inspiration for a series of photos (3-5 pictures)
The sky/sun should not be the main focus of your photos
B/w or color
Editing is not allowed; however, you may crop your pictures as you see fit.

Good Morning All! I'm getting this one up a little early since I went to bed earlier than usual and both my boys are still asleep.

This week's challenge is inspired by my son.

This week's theme:

SHAPES IN ARCHITECTURE

Search out and find a:

1.) Circle
2.) Square
3.) Triangle

Rules:

1.) B/W or Colour
2.) 3 photos, or all shapes in one (if you can manage!)
3.) No Tweaking
4.) Photos due by Sat. Aug 29 (MckLinky will stay open till the 1st of Sept for late posters.)

Sorry for getting this posted so late in the day... been dealing with a little flu bug going through the family. blah.

This weeks challenge:

Graffiti

Rules:
Incorporate graffiti into your images in some way- large or small scale.
Keep it PG.
Submit 3 photos- at least one in B&W and at least one in full color- by Saturday, August 22
You may edit as you see fit.
Enjoy getting out and searching for graffiti!


(graffiti can be anything that is writing- whether painted, scratched, or by other means- where it is not allowed- i.e. bathroom stalls, underpasses, bridges, road signs, etc...)

Wow! We keep adding new photographers every week! This week I'd like to offer a hearty welcome to Tomo. We're so glad you decided to join in the fun.

Since most of our challenges involve more than one photo I thought I'd switch it up a little this week and have a challenge where we post only ONE image.

Challenge #27

What lovely blue photos we had last week. It was fun to see everyone's interpretation. It's also nice to see that some of our newer members are feeling comfortable enough to comment on other's photos. Remember; if you don't have a lot of time to comment (this is also a reminder for me!) don't be afraid to talk about only one photo for each person. We all highly value everyone's feed back (and no worries if you think you have nothing to say, just talk about what you see!)
