The Purpose, the Journey, and the Fun along the way

Here we are, two moms who love our cameras and miss our college art classes and colleagues. With a family it can be difficult to find time for the creative process. Emily and I are using this blog as a way to have fun, work on our photography, keep each other accountable, and be creative!

Each Monday one of us will post a challenge for us both to complete and post a response to by Friday that week. Over the weekend, if time permits each of us will also critique the other's work.

We hope to use this blog as a way to grow together as photographers as we continue to grow as mothers.

If you happen to stumble upon our blog, and want to join in, feel free! Just post your response, with a link to your photos in the MckLinky link for that week. Challenges stay open for three weeks after they are posted.

Challenge #48

When I was in third grade our teacher, Miss Garfield, sent us all home with a simple assignment. We were to imagine that in class the next day a martian would be visiting who wanted to learn how to make a peanut butter sandwich. It was our job to write down instructions for said martian. We had no idea that Miss G was going to be our martian and that she would be following our instructions EXACTLY. All of us did our best, reading out loud what we had written, but in the end, what she had before her did not resemble, in any way, a peanut butter sandwich. Oh and there was peanut butter just about everywhere! It didn't take us long to realize why she'd been wearing gloves.

So with that inspiration this week's challenge is going to be a little more involved.

The Challenge:

Do a Photo Demo

Rules:
1.) Feel free to demo any normal thing that you do throughout your day, or if your adventurous you can do an activity for the sole purpose of using it for this challenge. (Hint for those of us with children: if this seems a bit overwhelming just capture something you do with your kid..or for your kids.)
2.) Please try to limit the images to no more than 10.
3.) Tweaking is fine if you'd like to display the images differently.
4.) Have fun!
5.) MckLinky will be open for approximately three weeks.
